Finance and Technology Transfer Centre for Climate Change (Fintecc) – EU Climate Window
About the competition:
The Finance and Technology Transfer Center for Climate Change (Fintecc) is announcing a grant competition, funded by the European Union’s EU4Business program. The competition aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises in responding to climate change challenges, implementing sustainable technologies and improving environmental practices.
Project objectives:
The project supports the implementation of the following types of technologies for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs:
- Use of renewable energy
- Effective management of water resources
- Increasing energy efficiency
- Efficient use of materials
Financing conditions:
- Up to 25% of the technology cost can be financed.
- Each applicant can receive funding of up to $500,000.
- Financing will be provided with additional support from the EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) after the technology is installed and put into operation.
Project budget:
- Total budget: 15,400,000 euros
- Project implementation deadline: June 16, 2026
Target group:
- Small and medium-sized entrepreneurs throughout Georgia
- Companies operating in the fields of business, manufacturing, industry, trade and environmental protection
Conditions of participation:
- Fill out an application to implement the appropriate technology.
- Submit technical and financial information about the project
- When reviewing applications, the technology’s compliance with climate change mitigation criteria will be assessed.
